This WS3 micro-site provides readings from Turnkey's i-dB range of Class 1 or Class 2 Sound Pressure Meters. Up to two SPMs can be connected to measure both A and C frequency weighting and F or S time weighting simultaneously. Alternatively, a Turnkey i-Met weather station, or i-Vibe vibration meter, can be connected to the WS3-S instead of the second SPM.
The i-dB, i-Met and i-Vibe instruments can all be configured remotely via an Internet TCPIP protocol on Port 9000. To allow the WS3 to communicate with other instruments, two addition virtual serial ports are also available. Port 10001 is a 9600 Baud TTL serial port, and Port 10002 is a 38.4k Baud RS485 simplex port. The activity of the Ports can be seen on the indicator 'lights' above.
The WS3 is designed to be used in conjuction with AirQ and AirQweb, Turnkey's free to use 'cloud' based instrument database software.
